The Minnewaukan area has become quite a popular vacation area in the past 10 years due to the fact that the expanding shores of Devils Lake now border the Minnewaukan area. Fishing and hunting are very popular with people from all over coming here to enjoy the plentiful wildlife, or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Summer isn't the only time to enjoy the area. Ice fishing, snowmobile riding and cross country skiing are some popular winter sports that are enjoyed in the area. The affordability of entertainment in the area is inexpensive compared to many other places. |
